Organizational Practices Compliance - 5

What is OPC 5?

OPC 5 (Organizational Practices Compliance 5) is a strategic workplace certification framework developed by CSEED that evaluates and certifies organizations across five key pillars of healthy and ethical organizational practices and workplace environment:

  • Policy
  • Practice
  • Progression
  • Perception
  • Privacy

Designed with the vision of making modern workplaces more compliant, inclusive, and growth-oriented, OPC 5 bridges the gap between compliance and company culture. It provides a clear structure for organizations to measure, enhance, and be recognized for their internal environment and employee-centric policies.

Why OPC 5 Matters?

In today’s competitive and evolving work landscape, companies are expected to offer more than just salaries and job titles. Employees—and stakeholders—demand a transparent, ethical, inclusive, and growth-focused environment.

OPC 5 helps organizations:

  • Benchmark internal practices against national labor laws and international workplace standards.
  • Foster employee trust and satisfaction through verified compliance with good governance and ethical practices.
  • Align HR policies with strategic growth, wellbeing, and long-term sustainability.
  • Attract top talent by demonstrating commitment to workplace excellence.

What OPC 5 Covers?

The OPC 5 Certification assesses your organization across five compliance domains:

🟦 P1: Policy

Evaluation of HR and operational policies including working hours, leaves, appraisals, grievance redressal, and alignment with local labor laws and international standards.

🟩 P2: Practice

Assessment of real-time workplace practices including employee engagement, inclusivity, fairness in implementation of policies, and code of conduct.

🟨 P3: Progression

Evaluation of employee growth initiatives—training, mentorship, career development, and leadership pipelines that support long-term workforce progression.

🟧 P4: Perception

Analysis of internal sentiment through anonymous employee feedback to understand satisfaction, inclusiveness, and lived experiences within the organization.

🟥 P5: Privacy

Review of HR data protection mechanisms, confidentiality protocols, and secure handling of employee records and sensitive information.

How OPC 5 Certification Works?

The certification process follows a clear and structured path similar to internationally recognized compliance frameworks:

1. Initial Assessment
A baseline evaluation of the company’s current practices through documentation review and employee insights.

2. Gap Analysis Report
Detailed identification of gaps between existing practices and OPC 5 benchmarks, along with tailored recommendations.

3. Transformation Window (30-60 days)

Organizations are given time to implement necessary improvements based on the gap analysis.

4. Final Audit
An on-site or virtual audit conducted by CSEED evaluators (or approved partners) to verify implementation across all 5 Ps.

5. Certification + Health Score
Certification is granted based on compliance level, and organizations are awarded a Workplace Health Score (A+, A, B+, etc.) to reflect maturity level.
